    Good Way to Mount Light, But Is Not Quite "Universal"

    Mounted this on a Blackburn rack using the angle bracket provided with the rack for this purpose. The Cygolite's mount doesn't mate very well with the Blackburn bracket, so I had to do some modification to the mount to better fit the bracket. I also used tie wraps to attach the mount's two outer holes to the rack (so that the mount doesn't swivel). Either way you'd expect this mount to mate perfectly with the hardware for a widely available rack like that from Blackburn, but it doesn't. In the end I was able to get it well-secured and it definitely puts the light in a better location than that provided by the seat stay mount.

    Great mount for my tail light.

    Great option for mounting my tail light since when I put items on my rear rack they would block my tail light mounted on my seat bag. Now I have it mounted just below my reflector on my rear rack and works great and easy to remove for charging.

    Hard to install on a Giant Rack

    I have a Giant brand rack, and the supports are right up against where the inside nut goes on the center screw. It was a real job to just get the nut on the bolt. ended up turning extremely small turns with needle nose pliars while trying to put it on. But I think I'll like it once I get the back switched out on my light to fit it.

    A stable mount for your Cygolite

    I have attached this mount to my rear rack bag instead of the rack. When I am using panniers they hang over the rack mount and would shield the light if mounted there. It works great, and the quality is excellent.
