    Perfect and easy replacement for the wheels on a Pelican 1750 that is now a few decades old and had the original wheels starting to disintegrate. Took two minutes to drive out the axles of the original wheels, replace the wheels, and drive the axles back in. With these new wheels, no need to buy a replacement 1750 case just yet.

    Insufficient wheel diameter for Pelican iM2975 Storm to retain original mobility and ease of use.

    The wheel diameter of the worn original Pelican iM2975 Storm is 2 3/4". The subject replacement wheel diameter is 2 9/16". While this may seem somewhat insignificant, the reduction is diameter now creates wheel contact failure, for example when traversing an increased floor elevation lip of only 1 3/4". This requires that you DRAG the case on the dolly frame -- rather than pull the case via wheels -- over minor obstacles that the original wheels could easily handle. The bearing number is the same as original allowing original axle to fit properly. I've lubricated the (dry) bearings before discovering the diameter problem, so I guess I'll keep them for something while I search for the correct diameter replacements. My final observation is that the original wheel material may be more ...
