    Arena - the Visitor prog rock is alive and well

    Having been a a die hard prog rock fan in the early 70s with Yes, Genesis(Peter Gabriel era), ELP etc. I discovered Arena about 6 months ago and honestly thought that there was no new Prop rock about. Have now bought virtually all there albums (mostly on eBay!)and this one stands out as a real classic. Possibly regarded as the (dreaded) concept album but while you can listen to it as one piece you can also listen to it as some great individual tracks. The opener "A Crack in the Ice" and "the Hanging Tree" especially stand out with some great guitar riffs together with the rousing closing track "The Visitor". If you like prog rock this album is an absolute must and so are ARENA. Get it from eBay, there are some great sellers of prog rock out there.
