About this product

Product Information

Still traumatised by her brush with a psychopath, Detective Cassie Maddox transfers out of the Murder squad and starts a relationship with fellow detective Sam O'Neill. When he calls her to the scene of his new case, she is shocked to find that the murdered girl is her double. What's more, her ID shows she is Lexie Madison - the identity Cassie used, years ago, as an undercover detective. With no leads, no suspects and no clues to Lexie's real identity, Cassie's old boss spots the opportunity of a lifetime: send Cassie undercover in her place, to tempt the killer out of hiding to finish the job.

  • More enjoyable than "In the woods"

Was recommended this Dublin murder trilogy by library reading group , however only first book stocked by them. Bought this , the second , and enjoyed it much than the first owing to my personal preference of the main character in this one .Looking to acquire the third one. Have now read others by this author , even better than these. Much more depth to characters and plot than some murder /crime novels.

  • A very apt title

I rarely read novels again and never buy from new. This book is so well written, the characters are well drawn and believable. The plot is well paced and makes you keep turning the pages and keeps you guessing. I read this several years ago and am really enjoying reading it again.
