Perfect if you're after a vintage strat on a budget.
A vintage correct strat for way less than anything from Fender/Squier. The only difference is that the maple fretboard is bound, this does mean however it's less susceptible to fret-sprout. Middle pick up is RWRP for the out-of-phase hum-cancelling sounds in positions 2 and 4. Like I said this is vintage specs, so the neck is a little thicker than modern guitars, and the finish on the back is a thicker gloss. Also the pickups are definitely not high output. Really nice grain in the body and neck, and the clear finish lets you see ever detail. NOTE: when I say nice grain it isn't any kind of quilted/flamed/splattered grain, but then you don't get that in ash, and a maple or poplar top would means it's no longer a vintage spec strat :-) Very happy, a lot of fun to play!A vintage correct strat for way less than anything from Fender/Squier.
