Glare shade for Garmin Nuvi(s)
I share my Garmin between my Jeep ZJ and my motorcycle (BMW R12C). The sunshade is a must for use on the bike to cut down on the glare (nothing's perfect unfortunately, with sunglasses and helmet lens). Increases visibility 50% when the sun is at an angle (doesn't help when the sun is behind you).

It offers some benefit in reducing sun glare, is easy to attach and appears reasonably durable. However, for most Garmin models, brightness and readability will still be a problem, especially when used in the open, on a motorcycle. Also, keep in mind, Garmin screens are polarized. So if you are also using polarized sunglasses you may find the polarization directions aren't compatible. In that case, a sun shade won't save you. Not enough sunshade, and it didn't really help in seeing the screen. The idea is really good, but the screen shade is just too small. If you have the means to modify it it should be okay. I'm going to modify mine, and it should work much better, and the cost will be modest too.

shade too short, instruction missing
It came in two separate pieces, without any instruction or diagram on how to assemble it. The shade is much too short to be useful. I have to glue a piece of metal to extend the shade. Price is also too high.

Very poor design
This sunshade is almost useless if not totally useless. It covers too much of the screen and doesn't stop the sun from hitting it on the motorcycle. It might work if was mounted very high, like on the visor of your car, but then you wouldn't need it. I am thinking of returning it and getting my money back. Simply put it does't work!
