    Brilliant little story book

    It’s just a lovely imaginative story for children. Some might not like the gingerbread man being eaten at the end. Otherwise lovely pictures and easy reading being the most important.

    The gingerbread boy

    Excellent condition. Pages beautifully clean, later edition than expected but still works as the front cover and material is the same as the earlier books. Very happy with it would have given five stars had it been older edition .

    timeless classic fairytale.

    A great book and a blast from the past of my own childhood. The story of a liitle boy made out of gingerbread(mmmm) he runs away from the little woman who made him and goes on a journey and meets many animals on the way. He outfoxes (pardon the pun) all the animals except the sly fox. I wanted to introduce my 3 year old great niece to the stories that I read as a child. She loves this story and already can predict the repeat pattern of the story and retells in her own words. She loves using different voices for the characters giving her a solid foundation of how to bring a story to life. The book is vintage and the illustration are lovely and still hold great appeal.
