    One of the best country albums ever

    Bought this CD to replace my original LP version which was wearing out. Quite simply, it is a masterpiece. If you don't already have it, I urge you to acquire a copy.

    LISTENABLE BUT NOT GREAT

    Nothing to write home about with this NGDB album. Its listenable but no great songs to add to their catalogue. The best song is a Merle Haggard cover "Mama Tried". I've been a fan for over 30 years & I must admit I never heard of this album (released in 1992) but just had to have it to add to the collection. Their best albums were Let's Go & Hold On.

    Great musicians, great guitar/mandolin/banjo, recognizable songs

    Wonderful group of musicians - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and friends. Some great songs - my favorite being Doc Watson's Tennessee Stud. Fun ballad, great guitar work.
