    Clarion remote adapter

    Plugged right in. I can use volume control, band control, skip forward and backward for songs. Only negative is that it doesn't show on the remote screen.

    Mostly great

    This adapter was the perfect bridge from my old wired remote control to the new Clarion stereo. As advertised it does lose a little functionality but the volume an input works which is what I really wanted it for.

    Money Saving Connection

    This part is a life saver. We owned the older Clarion with dual remotes in our boat. When we upgraded to a new clarion stereo, we did not want to replace the remotes and pull new wiring through boat hull to the dash and stern. This part converted the Y connector for the remotes at the back of the radio and all functions of the remote work.

    I used this to connect my new Clarion radio to my older wired remote in my boat. Volume control works. Mute works. Only negative is the display on the wired remote doesn’t display any info.
