You can depress the left side of the spacebar all the way and have it not register the stroke. As a left-thumb spacebar-user this is a non-starter. Ive been really happy with my HP KU-1469, they look identical to these so my mistake in assuming they'd be at least similar. Model ID not on the box nor in the listing, so I'm not faulting the seller here
