    the locksmith was able to program it to start a 2015 passat se by placing it close to where the key is supposed to be on a keyless start/stop button. non of the functions like door unlock or lock works but i can open or lock the door with the key that was cut for it. it's good for a spare or emergency key only.

    If the remote buttons dont work that means you bought the wrong remote and your vehicle uses a different FCC ID #. Your vehicle uses a completely different remote, the correct remote will lock and unlock the doors. Should have returned the remote and purchased the correct remote for your vehicle.

    Good Quality

    This is a very nice fob/key. I have not had it programmed or cut yet, but the quality seems to be quite good and feels very similar to the original key. I am happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
