Critical parts seem to all be metal for extra strength. No casting burrs or any cleanup needed - they were read to go out-of-the box. I couldn't see using a Manfrotto or Small Rig ball head when these work well for my application and cost much less. On thing I appreciate is that stop-ring/jam nut has a rubber edge for extra grip when finger tightening

To make the ball head work smoother, pop it out, mount it in a drill, and polish it with 1200 grit sandpaper.
