    Nostalgic Experience

Satisifaction from a purchases is I imagine everyone desires and I can happily say that I'm very satisfied. Purchasing this product has made me want to get more box and manuals with the game. The box makes a great little display on my shelf to look at, the DKC boxart has always been the best. The manual was fun to read through, Rare Ware had some good writers working on it. Receiving the box was pretty nostalgic, felt like buying a SNES game minus the minor scuff on the box. Donkey Kong Country is probably the best SNES game and I've already beaten it. Only 64% but DKC is hard to 101%. Forgot how good the game looked.

Good but need to blow in game to make work

Game is used and good. Need to blow in game to make it work. Could've been a little better.

  • For its time a fun game

This was a great time for its time and had great graphics, but compared to modern games the graphics are not nearly as good. Modern machines that play this game like the Retron 5, and older SNES machines will show you how fun the game play is though. The game is one you have to add to your collection if you had it growing up, and it brought back memories playing it just like when I played Super Mario Brothers on NES. . Wiki Donkey Kong Country is a 1994 platforming video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was first released in November 1994, and under the name Super Donkey Kong (スーパードンキーコング Sūpā Donkī Kongu?) in Japan. The game was later re-released for the Game Boy Color (2000), Game Boy Advance (2003), Wii Virtual Console ...

  • The Big Ape's Debut!!!

Pros + DK's first adventure. + Fun platformer action with some things thrown in like using animals for transportation Swiss Family Robinson style. + Big boss battles & a variety of different jungle levels. + 3D rendered graphics Cons - Repetitive gameplay as far as playing as DK & Diddy goes. - Banana collecting not as fun as coin collecting in Mario Bros. - No multiplayer element during the adventure Comments This is the game that inspired the Kong trilogy. The gameplay was a bit repetitive & lackluster but the characters make you want to play through. He's no Mario but DK throws in enough mini-games & has enough action to keep you playing all the way through. Verdict Must have game for any Nintendo or platformer fan. Fun for the kids as well.

  • DONKEY KONG YAY X's 3

These games are a pact full of awesomness. Why shouldn't it? WHEN IT HAS THE MOST FUN CARTOON APES EVER. The levels are challenging in all three yet, easy at the same time. Some parts you need patience and to have your eye open to get all of the secrets ,and coins. I haven't even found all the DK huge coins yet. BUT! The coins you mostly have to worry about is in DK 2 with Diddy and Dixxie. You need to collect the yellow or gold colored coins with 2 or 3??? Bananas on them. You need to pay to save.. and to fly.. So they are very important!!!! DK 3 has a point to the silver coins. Collect them and you can play games and among other things. I forgot the importance of the coins in DK 1. I really don't think there are not except for the huge DK coins. Anywho... This game definetly bought back ...
