Great fun, get one if you can! Lots of power in a small box.
Great fun to play with, but get a Korg type midi cable adapter (type A only) & play it with a controller keyboard such as a Keystep, unless you just want to use the arpeggiator. The ribbon keyboard is a joke. Amazingly powerful for such a small device, & it's expandable with 3rd party oscillators & effects. The built-in effects are pretty amazing as well, especially the reverbs. Cool filters as well. You can also use the effects section as a stand alone module with other devices, like Korg Volcas or most other synths.Great fun to play with, but get a Korg type midi cable adapter (type A only) & play it with a controller keyboard such as a Keystep, unless you just want to use the arpeggiator. Fantastic little synth
Great synth , only major issue is Korg is using TRS-a midi and my gear appears to be TRS-b and it won't work with my sequencer for now Other than extremely useful and easy to load custom sounds

Little but powerful beast
This tiny box is something! • usb-midi (receive notes and CC parameters. So you can draw automation for various parameters such as osc shape, filter cutoff etc) • onboard high quality effects. The reverb is crazy! • you can make your own oscillators via third-party software (like wavetables in serum)

Excellent synth / fx
Good value for what it can do. Keyboard strip is tiny and hard to work with but no problem with a midi controller (supports midi over usb, e.g. with Ableton). Using multiple custom effects can overload the CPU, but great sound otherwise.

People already know if they want an NTS-1. I'm just here to reassure you that you do and it will be the best thing ever when you get it. Even when you get an email telling you to pay thirty quid import duty... just smile and pay up knowing that it's worth it.
