They are just plain metal - the type that you would use if using SATA ribbon cables. What was sent are NOT the HP 654540 type of bracket that has connectors built into the caddy. Please contact me IMMEDIATELY. This is costing me dearly as I was relying these being right for some urgent migration work for a bunch of Dell servers. Very disappointed to be sent the wrong adapters. Wish I could change to a negative feedback.
