Makes Use Of Alarm Much Less of An Issue
The wireless key takes the bag of groceries out of your arms and saves you a trip to the alarm panel to deactivate the alarm before going back to the car to start carrying stuff into the house. It takes the rush out of reaching the panel once the entry door is opened. It allows you to arm or disarm the alarm from a decent distance (100ft) from the control panel. We have alarms on all our properties and the use of these wireless keys makes it easy to deal with the inconveniences of alarm use. They are good quality. Simple to operate. The battery lasts a couple of years and is easy to change when it fails. If you have a monitoring company, they will charge a service call to program these into the system. You can usually have a few depending on how many zones you have used on your alarm ... Easy Peasy!
My wife broke the retainer ring on her ADT key fob. I bought this because it looked to be exactly the same as the one she broke. It it! All I had to do was take apart the two fobs and move the electronics a & batteries into the new plastic case. It fit perfectly and works perfectly. Given what ADT charges for these and the additional charges to have your alarm system programmed to recognize the new device ID this was an amazing deal.My wife broke the retainer ring on her ADT key fob. Installed into the system by a professional and found to be working just fine. I have used several of these over the last 14 years. This one was a bargain. I’m told people use their cellphones instead nowadays but these are easier to use if you don’t sleep and wake with a cellphone.
