Surprisingly well made for the price
If your not designing the next space shuttle and just need something for home use that doesn't require batteries then this is a pretty decent tool. Not as accurate as top end tools but for what most people need it's good enough

Negative------- Slide operation "tight'' to operate, difficult to get a good gauge feel when measuring. This leads to an inaccurate reading Possible solution------ Adjust rack and pinion tolerances in manufacture Lubricate rack and pinion with a low friction grease such as Teflon.Positive ------ Easy to read dial and scales, good surface finish, good packaging, presentation good. ok for the price
it's ok but you need to get the measurement by reading the jaw position and the dial position together. Reading off the dial alone would be far better
