    No. 1 Cowboy - Robbins, Marty (CD 1995)

    There will probably not be another Marty Robbins--ever! And that's probably a good thing. Pale immitations tend to degrade both artists. This particular CD is already a classic, as was the artist! I collect Western/Cowboy music and poetry and this CD was a replacement for an older LP that I had. Marty was simply a one-of-a-kind artist who could sing in almost any genre and be beliveable. I am a huge fan and will miss all those sets that now will never be! RIP
