I purchased this cpu to upgrade our home server to a Xeon for multitask functions it fit right in my X99 motherboard that had windows already installed and it fired right up.     Great Budget CPU

    Great little cpu, overclocks like a champion and with 4 cores it plays games very nicely when paired with an adequate Graphics card !!

    Excellent performance on a budget.

    This processor is excellent for everyday desktop use and gaming. The stock cooler is quite loud when you are playing games or running demanding software so the only thing I would say is consider a good aftermarket solution with Arctic Silver.
