New tracks worth it?
Most madness fans will be very familiar with the majority of gems on his album via the plathora of hits compilations already available. Although there are a couple of more obscure tracks, such as White heat from the album "Mad Not Mad", to keep things interesting most attention for long term fans will focus on the new tracks. "Simple Equation" is an excellent Suggs/Chrissy boy composition, instantly hummable, a foot-tapper. "Sarah's song" is a tailor-made show tune from Barso/Thommo which has quite a lush West End feel to it. This emotional musical style is usually not my cup of tea, however Suggs' direct and honest vocal delivery keeps it real and stops it getting cheesy. The supposed "2002 re-mix" of "It must be love" varies almost negligibly from the original so it's really down to ...
