When the great ship strikes an iceberg and begins to sink, Rose and Jack have only each other as their world falls apart around them.Director James Cameron spared no expense in bringing his simple yet powerful love story to life, building a 90% scale model of the ship, fussing over the tiniest details, and ultimately spending some $200 million dollars. A worldwide smash, TITANIC received fourteen Academy Award nominations and 11 wins, including Best Picture.     Modern Day Classic

    As a Turner Classic Movie junkie, I believe that decades in the future this move will be listed among the great American classics. The story is classic-the sinking of the 'unsinkable' Titanic. The acting is extraordinary; considering that Kate Winslet and Leo Di Caprio had little experience before this film. The director, James Cameron, won a much deserved "Best Director" Oscar....and the film was nominated numerously. Own this movie as a part of the backbone of true classics....you won't regret it.

    This is a good movie

    I changed mind on this movie it is a good movie I watched it last night of course I cried but it is a good show through I had it in the library and I got it out to watch it but now I half go put it back this is a good movie but I don't want to watch it anymore when it first came on I was confused the show , shows how there under the water exploring the ship but if you give it a few minutes it will go in to the movie , after seeing all that I,ve got to see the raising of the Titanic , I think it,s going to be good .
