    Fresh, delicious corn kernels!

    At harvest, corn is twelve to twenty cents an ear. We buy up dozens and use this fine tool to "harvest" the kernels to freeze in sealed bags. Have one from 25 years ago, and desired several as gifts, and spares in my kitchen. This tool quality has remained constant over those 25 years, and I recommend you get several to share with friends and family, to have your own "harvest" of kernels all year long!

    Not what they used to be

    Used to have 2 of these some years ago and they were good but like everything prices go up and quality goes down. It's flimsy and it's a struggle to use. Took me less time and had less waste using a knife.

    Not so hot

    This doesn't cut very well so I think that is why they use a drill with this item. No problems with the dealer or anything, just not a great cutter.

    Made well

    Doesn't cut even and a little difficult to use on different size corn ears. Made well and handle is sturdy. The cutting blade won't maintain its shape.

    Works Great!!!

    Product worked exactly as intended. A word to the wise: Do not attempt to cut the kernels off the cob of corn without 1st blanching the corn. And product works best with BIG ears of corn.
