    Tamiya x20 A thinner

Since January of this year Tamiya pulled if out of centers off the shelves and had to re-release it thanks to California and it's stupid standards.#81040 in 250ml is back I wouldn't use anything else for thinning this stuff is fantastic glad to see it back finally. I do a lot of airbrushing and it's been a real pain in the butt having to buy the small little ones that they re-release first.

    Excellent acrylic thinner

Used this for my Model master and Tamiya acrylic paints to be used with an Aztek dual action airbrush. EXCELLENT results. However, for the price of a small bottle of this, I'm not sure that you can't get the same results with a large bottle of distilled or drinking water from WalMart and just use this for cleaning the brush. Even still, good product and it works as advertised.

  • quantity quantity and the product all good.

First I tried other brands available in india.but just thought let's try tamiya.its good, nice package. the quantity of liquid that u get in the bottle is different. second the price factor. The same would sell for double the price in india nice product.

  • smells just like alcohol, truth be told you might just be able to use that instead

...but since the amount is usually small, I just get this thinner, since I don't want to experiment with using rubbing alcohol, or even vodka instead of the thinner. If I were going to soak a lot of parts or otherwise use a lot, I'd be going straight to the rubbing alcohol (or acetone for cleaning) and not this stuff. It's too expensive for such uses.. then again i use cheap airbrushes, I couldn't say if the seals in the AB will stand up to acetone, or not but so far I have not had a problem i could point to using it. Anyway if i buy anything that says Tamiya i expect two things 1-it's gonna cost me and 2-it'll do what they say it does. So for thinning acrylics, doesn't matter whose, I use this thinner and it hasn't let me down yet.

  • Even better than I remembered!

For the longest time I couldn't find this stuff anywhere! I'm so glad I was able to get a bottle. I forgot how tasty this stuff is. Great way to end a long day at the office. Just a single shot goes a long, log way! Straight with no chaser, or mixed into your favorite holiday concoction, the flavor just can't be beat! A+++++ would drink again!!
