    Might be OK for short hair.

    Pros: attractive appearance, no exposed springs to tangle hair, hair glides smoothly in iron. Cons: does not get hot enough for long hair, the tiny stand holds the iron too close to surface of countertop. No matter how long I let the iron heat up or held the iron in place, it did not give my hair a lasting curl, the way other irons of the same size in other designs/brands have. Ended up buying a duplicate of my old curling iron in order to have something usable.
