    Best DVD blanks

    ((Not sure that it's sauce, but whatever.)) These are the discs to get if you are looking for 100% no-issue performance from DVD recordable media. Never have run across a bad blank with TDK though other brands also perform well. I have had issues with the other leading maker of blank media which drove me nuts, thinking the recorder was to fault. TDK never let me down. I don't know if these are still in production, but will buy them as long as possible.

    tdk holds up

    i have a dvd recorder magnavox, and the only discs that work are old tdk discs in the brown wrapper. maxell discs work, but have started to rot away after 8 years! tdk dvds are still holding up fine. i have a pioneer cd recorder, that only works with tdk cd-r's, old ones that say compact disc digital audio recordable, which are impossible to find anymore too. new discs just dont work on all equipment, thank god for people on ebay!
