    Purpose of use

    I would like to point out that this product serves well as a lens protector. I do get some glare on my lens from this filter when shooting in reflective light, but I guess for protection I can give it a thumbs up!

    Neutral Density Filter Produces an 'X' ND Effect.

    The ND filter effect does not cover the entire lens. As the density ring is turned from Low to Max density the ND effect begins to appear as an 'X' on the camera screen and image. To get an image that does not have an 'X' ND effect the camera lens had to be zoomed-in to 6x times. Also had to use manual focusing to get a clear image.

    UV filter as described and expected

    The filter works as designed. I mainly purchased it as a protective cover to a 18-55mm lens so that the primary lens wouldn't get scratched during normal use.
