Does not block RFID readers, only makes it harder for them.
To test this, I put my work ID badge into one of these and it was able to read the RFID, but I had to hold it closer to the reader and it took a second longer. They would probably make it hard for someone to scan them surreptitiously while they're in the sleeve in your wallet, but it could be done. Also the only one of them I've used started coming apart at the seams after taking my card out 4 or 5 times. They would need to be reinforced with, for example, packing tape. I guess these are okay considering their cost, but I'm going to see if I can get some copper foil which I think would completely block the RFID signal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
