    A tidy useful bit of kit for my hobby work.

    Took a chance on this hot plate .. pleased to say it's had nearly two years of almost daily use ... set at level 3 and it's still working as my flame free wax melter Just make sure the wax pan is the same size as the iron hob so it can't over heat .& remove it once the melting session has ended . Always unplug immediately after use it , just incase the thermostat fails & never ever leave it unattended whilst melting wax incase it turns into a fire. Don't melt wax in the house it gets a bit too smoky ( guess how I found out ?) . Found it's easy to clean the white work whilst it's warm ( but not above hand hot ) using a soft cotton rag lightly soaked in white spirit.

    Good relation quality to price.

    Well, basically is enough good quality with this price. Only problem for me is that on maximum power the thermostat is switching off power to often. Mean I tried boil about 6 L water in pressure cooker but there was not enough power. Finally I had to start boil on my gas stove than swap and easily boil on electric cooker with adjustment about 2-3. Maximum adjustment is 5.
