    Crossword Help! A-Z Dictionary

    I have found this particular dictionary to be extremely easy to use as well as very comprehensive and reasonably up to date. My old, identical, text completely wore out and was falling apart even though I tried to get the last bit of usage out of it by using tape etc. to prolong its life. Working the cross word puzzles, maybe up to 3 hours a week is a favorite activety of mine mainly because of the challenge and for the new words I am able to learn almost on a daily basis. This A-Z Dictionary is great for helping when I run up against a mental block and becoming disabling frustated. I like this particular edition so much that I recently purchased TWO of them on E-Bay. tnb7770

    The New Comprehensive A-Z Crossword Dictionary

    We do crossword puzzles and word jumbles and scrambles. This dictionary has been very helpful when we are stumped. We have learned many new meanings for old "stand-by" words. It is set out with the guide words in bold print and the suggested alternatives in standard print. Very easy to use. We would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in crosswords and other word puzzles.

    Great crossword puzzle book!

    This is my go to book for working crossword puzzles. I almost always find the answers I’m looking for. I bought this book to replace an older edition that was so used by my husband and me that it was totally falling apart. This is our favorite crossword puzzle book.

    Does the job.

    This is my third copy of this “New Comprehensive A-Z Crossword Dictionary”. Most of the time it does what I expect as far as helping me solve Crossword Puzzles. However the name is now a little misleading since it is now longer new, as far as I can tell just a reprint of the 1996 book.
