    Great original Genie part to replace the worn out original

    This is an excellent original equipment part from Genie. It works on all of the screw drive openers including the older Excellerators; but the newer Excellerators require a different carriage. Installation is pretty easy and requires only a 1/2" socket to remove the bolt at the door end of the track. There are just two things to remember regarding the installation. First, grease the carriage teeth prior to installation. Second, notice the embossed instruction on the side of the carriage. The arrow should be pointed to the door and not to the motor.
