Reviews
"Traditional Irish music always seems to affirm beauty in the context of looming mortality, bringing a tear to the eye even as the feet are moved to tap out a jig. Playing it pure with no tinge of jazz or new age, the Ladies allow themselves no distance from their emotions..."

Beck - set 5 DVD region 1 US import took a bit longer to arrive than normal. But was well packed and a great price, including delivery, which was further enhanced by ebay's 15% Spring discount offer. Very good condition as described. Although one disc needed cleaning to make it play better. Recommended seller!

Arrived early in great condition. Price was below average as was the shipping fee. My only issue was that the seller did not respond to my questions before I made the purchase and although I probably still would have made the purchase, it wasn’t exactly what I had hoped it was which I would have known ahead of time should I have received a reply and on hindsight, my question a tad silly anyway. Overall I am content and would buy from this seller again.

The box set of three dvds are just as described, great used condition. The item was well packed and arrived quickly. I have not played the dvds yet, but they all appear to be in good condition, showing no signs of damage. Thanks very much great Ebayer 👍

  • Not bad for background listening

I always find it interesting that although the instruments are, generally speaking, the same and the type of music is similar, Irish music of this kind always seems to be much more "joyful" as opposed to Scots being "melancholy". (Just a personal opinion, you understand!) Most of the tracks on this CD were excellent, although I wasn't too sure about the vocals. Still, not bad at all.
