    better than expected results

    I bought it to use for at least three different projects and I have completed one so far. This is a real machine, a beast. I cut a hole in a existing brick wall for a new door opening. I drilled holes first with a Bosch sds plus hammer drill and then used this chipping hammer to remove the brick. I bought the chisel bits and drill bits from harbor freight but thinking I will go through a few bits before I was finished. I was wrong on that one. I drilled about 200 3/8 holes in the mortar joints and about 70 3/4 holes in the brick. When I finished the drill bits looked perfect and the chisel bit did not even get dirty. This thing chiseled right through solid brick and mortar in just a few seconds, no problems what so ever. I am very happy with the performance and I am certain it will do ...

    Sturdy Tool

    This is my second rotary hammer. The first was from Harbor Freight and it didn't last long and had a poor suspension system so vibration was hard on my hands and arms. The Bosch unit has a much better suspension system and has already put in twice as many deep holes in granite. It does get hot and does not have thermal protection so I let it cool off pretty frequently. Twenty to thirty minutes of continuous drilling is my limit. This is a heavy tool so cooling time can be as long as drilling time. I bought a factory refurbished unit and it looks and performs as good as a new one.

    Great chipping hammer for its size.

    I have a couple smaller Bosch rotary hammers that hit well above their weight class. I needed something a little bigger so I went with Bosch again. You will not be disappointed.

    RH540M

    I am an HVAC Mechanic, so I used to have very hard time piercing through concrete walls. The first time I used the RH540M I was shocked and my heart was racing to see how this thing cut the concrete walls like slicing butter with a hot knife. I just love it.
