The ones I received are MUCH closer to the brand new (“Shiny”) ones they sell for half the price; so if you’re expecting what is represented in their ad picture, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Otherwise, my items were shipped-out promptly and nicely packaged.

    A bright and articulate humbucker with a single coil-ish voice.

    I have the DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell in the neck position of a Gibson Les Paul and it is very nice, and also have one in the neck position of a Fender Stratocaster and I like it even more in the Strat, It is as close to a single coil tone as you will find in a full sized humbucker that is not coil split or tapped, is brighter and more articulate than most humbucking pickups. In both guitars it is paired with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position, makes a great set.

    Pretty good pickup.

    Works well as a neck pickup for rolling back the guitar volume for cleans. When playing full volume can be a little shrill though.
