Cool player with cool sound!
This small but powerful product does exactly what I needed it to do. Load music easily, have an easy user interface, play music at a decent level, and store a good amount of music. The Insignia NS-DA1G does just that. The reason I bought this small player is because I didn't want the hard drive parts of an iPod or a Creative Zen break down on me. I had several of the "big time MP3 or media players and although they are cool and hold a lot of information, they have a hard drive that if it fails has to be sent in to be fixed. With a flash drive, I have no moving parts that need fixing and it was cheap enough that if something goes wrong that I can just purchase a new one.This small but powerful product does exactly what I needed it to do. INSIGNIA MP3 PLAYERS ARE ONE OF THE BEST!
I brought 6 of these (all used) back in Febuary & my experience has been nothing but a pleasure....that was until mine starting playing only the left side of the headphones! I had to go into the player and actually break one of the contacts and bend the other 2 in order to get both left and right headphone speaker to work, but now....the sound is not in stereo. One of my daughters had hers stolen & my other daughter dropped hers and damage the screen( I kept telling her those protective cases come with them for a reason but she failed to listen) but it still works fine. My son's player is in perfect condition. I gave 2 of my nephews one each and only gods knows what one nephew did with his and my other nephew let his sister get a hold of it and she threw it across the room, it hit the ... Insignia NS-DA1G Great little player.
This little player is great. It is easy to use and the battery life is good also. I have no dislikes. I purchased this because I wanted something more user friendly. I got it! I would recommend this product.

1 GB is just enough
Good product never a problem with play back. Easy to sync and device library updates adding new songs all on its own from my PC Media player. Holds charge long enough to make it through an 8 hour day. Sound is clear and exact but not as loud as older MP3 player-not sure if its old headphones or compatability issue. All around good device for the money and believe it or not it was an upgrade from my 256 MG.Good product never a problem with play back.
