Six fun Halloween tales featuring all of HIT Entertainment's most-loved characters are collected here in one volume! First, Angelina Ballerina and her friend Alice don't believe Henry when he says he's seen the mythical Chipping Cheddar witch in HENRY'S HALLOWEEN; everything changes, however, when the girls have a spooky run-in and brave little Henry steps in to save them! Then, in SPUD THE DRAGON, the mischievous scarecrow borrows a costume from the school and gives Muck and Lofty quite a scare, until Wendy unmasks him and gives him a taste of his own medicine. BJ learns the importance of good friends when he comes back empty-handed from trick or treating in BARNEY'S HALLOWEEN PARTY, and the Rubbadubbers discover that even the most fearsome shark is sometimes ... Decent deluxe with a great mix.
My opinion on this however is that this is more of the deluxe edition of Barney’s Halloween party. I know it’s the longest segment of this 2004 HiT favorites Video, but it would’ve been better to release the deluxe edition of this Barney video with the other episodes as part of the HiT extras on the dvd version, including the never before seen Bob the builder episode: spud the dragon. There bonus features were Barney’s make a pumpkin face, and a HiT favorites memory match-up card game. My opinion on this however is that this is more of the deluxe edition of Barney’s Halloween party. I know it’s the longest segment of this 2004 HiT favorites Video, but it would’ve been better to release the deluxe edition of this Barney video with the other episodes as part of the HiT extras on the dvd version, including the never before seen Bob the builder episode: spud the dragon. Great variety of cute shows for Halloween
I got this for my 2 year old because it has a lot of her favorite characters & I wanted her to get the concept of dressing up for Halloween & trick or treating. She loves the DVD & a great time on Halloween, so it obviously worked!
