Shipped asap item as described NOS but who ever packed the item covered the NOS boxes in shipping tape. If you remove the tape you ruin the boxes now 60 plus years old.

The boxes were in poor condition , literally falling apart. The tape is the only thing holding them together . The only thing that matters is that the NOS parts arrived undamaged which they did. The boxes have no value unless this purchase was for resale at a profit . We have shipped NOS items previously in original poor condition boxes and received complaints for NOT taping the boxes shut. Some were concerned with possible damage, some have lost hardware . We can not please everybody .
