THE AMITYVILLE HORROR 4K BLU-RAY REISSUE IS 100% WORTH BUYING
the new 4K blu-ray reissue by U.S label Vinegar syndrome is 100% worth buying Disc 1 is 4K UHD Disc of the feature film i cannot comment on the 4K picture quality as i don't own a 4K blu-ray player but Disc 2 is the 1080p Theatrical feature film with a new 4k scan of the 1:85:1 HD transfer and the picture quality of the 4k scan does look amazing quality No Grain no Dirt colors look beautiful prob give rating 9.5/10 PQ, the SQ is the same 5.1 master mix again very Good 8/10 also has the 2.0 master mix option aswell which sounds just as Good 7.5/10 plus optional English subtitles EXTRAS- over 1hour of extras on Disc 2, a new retrospective featurette My Amityville Diaries has interviews with remaining cast & crew from the film, actors Menno Peluce, Don Stroud, Actress Amy wright who played ... the new 4K blu-ray reissue by U.S label Vinegar syndrome is 100% worth buying Disc 1 is 4K UHD Disc of the feature film i cannot comment on the 4K picture quality as i don't own a 4K blu-ray player but Disc 2 is the 1080p Theatrical feature film with a new 4k scan of the 1:85:1 HD transfer and the picture quality of the 4k scan does look amazing quality No Grain no Dirt colors look beautiful prob give rating 9.5/10 PQ, the SQ is the same 5.1 master mix again very Good 8/10 also has the 2.0 master mix option aswell which sounds just as Good 7.5/10 plus optional English subtitles EXTRAS- over 1hour of extras on Disc 2, a new retrospective featurette My Amityville Diaries has interviews with remaining cast & crew from the film, actors Menno Peluce, Don Stroud, Actress Amy wright who played the Teen babysitter in the film, screenplay writer Sandor stern plus few other behind scenes crew- 22mins, plus 2017 interview with James brolin, 2017 interview with Lalo schrifrin plus the old 2002 retrospective documentary plus Trailer, Tv spots, radio spots etc, the only Documentary missing is the True or Hoax History channel Doco from 2002 DVd release which has the real George, Cathy Lutz talking about their aCTUAL EXPERIENCE living in the House, it's 2 discs inslde black plastic case, Disc 2 is region A locked but is 100% worth buying 5 stars for sure
