    Excellent

    I have the book 'Play in a Day' -- which is brilliant in its own right -- but the DVD adds so much as well. Clear straightforward explanation together with excellent, appropriate and well-photographed. bert Weedon is an engaging, enthusiastic and unpretentious chap and a delight to watch. It's no surprise his book inspired everyone from Eric Clapton to Segovia.

    For those who strive to play

    For those who have mastered the Guitar to a mid level this will add to give a few tips to improve mainly this is aimed at the beginner on the road to playing your first tune. Bert was the master who started many artists on the road to success, my only criticism is that the DVD needs to be remastered as the sound and vision is of poor quality.

    Bert Weedon DVD review.

    Although I'm an amateur beginner on acoustic guitar, I'm a trained musician and a lot of the DVD content covers things I already know. The rest of it is okay, but I guess I expected more from one of the most respected guitarists in the world. Perhaps the printed book has more to offer. I don't want to be too negative because absolute beginners might find the DVD is a goldmine of information. To be fair, it does say 'Play In A Day', and that is possible.

    Nice DVD but some what dated.

    Nice dvd of his old vhs tape. Talks about pitch pipes and tuning forks. Useful and nice way to start off using basic chords. Does not cover his rudimentary on music or scales or barre chords which is a shame.
