The chain is a bit lightweight and some of the links were not closed completely, I prefer welded links, just my opinion. The leather is thin but stiff with not a very high quality feel to it. My guess is that it’s mass produced and not so much of a high quality nicely crafted item. I appreciate the design, I think it’s well thought out for a simplistic usefulness, could have used better materials. It’s what I was expecting for the price
