Good Printer
The Epson CX7800 is one of the best All In One units out there if you can find it in good used condition. I needed a printer for my wife and getting another 7800 means buying only 1 type of ink cartridges! the scanner is only 8 1/2 x 11 but the quality os top notch. The printer is one of the best ink jet photo printers I have ever owned. On premium gloss or Semi gloss paper, the quality is comparable to a custom print. On normal paper stock there is minor color banding in solid color areas, EX DVD Covers, but switch to a premium ink jet paper and the banding i gone. Swapping ink cartridges is a snap, the software makes printing, scanning and machine up keep a snap. All in all far better than any Canon or HP printer/scanner I have ever owned.The Epson CX7800 is one of the best All In One units out there if you can find it in good used condition. Epson Stylus CX7800 All-In-One Injet Printer
The Epson CX7800 produces excellent quality photos. Using the DuraBrite Ink, the photos have vivid color, are fade resistant and extremely water resistant. The printer is easy to set up and use with or without a PC. This printer also has ports for digital camera cards and is also easy to use and print photos directly from the card. I already owned one CX7800 which was heavily used beyond what most home use printers are capable of handling. I was extremely happy to find another one to replace it.The Epson CX7800 produces excellent quality photos. Wonderful all-in-one, especially if you use Mac OS X.
I love this all-in-one! It prints beautiful color photos. It prints labels and reports, etc. very quickly. The type is clear and crisp. The scanner works very quickly to make copies. I can now copy receipts for rebates and I've also used it to copy some cross stitch charts so that I don't have to mark the original chart. This all-in-one prints pages and labels very quickly--about one minute if you make custom address labels with graphics. About a minute for a 8x10 photo. Typed pages were done in less than 30 seconds, perhaps more like 10 seconds, but I never timed it. And, it's very quiet. This all-in-one has a LCD display to preview photos from a memory card. All types of memory cards can be used, the cards are inserted in slots located under a small door at the front of the printer. ... I love this all-in-one! It prints beautiful color photos. There's USB port on the front also, to connect your Pict-Bridge digital camera directly. You don't need to have this all-in-one connected in order to print photos. Another nice touch is the slide adaptor. It can be stored under the printer lid, but I found when I did this, it made the lid lay lopsided when printer was not used, so I took the adaptor out and stored it in a drawer in my desk. Also, the printer tray on the bottom snaps shut when the printer is not in use, keeping dust out; a very nice touch. Software installs quickly and includes photo restorer for old photos. This restores colors to faded photos. I bought the CX7800 to replace the HP 7550 I had for three years. The HP stopped printing when I upgraded my iMac's OS from Panther (10.3) to Tiger (10.4). My printer was as dead as a doornail. I contacted HP, who stated they have the new printer drivers for Tiger on their web page, but this is just NOT TRUE. I downloaded the driver and it never worked. I will never use HP products again. I don't have the time to hassle with a printer to get it to work. This Epson is absolutely the best printer I've ever used. I recommend it to Windows and Mac users alike. If you're an Apple user, don't waste your time with any other brand. Epson has its act together as far as the printer drivers for Mac OS X. (This all-in-one works with Mac OS X (10.2, 10.3, and 10.4 only). Will NOT work with OS 9 (Classic). In the box were: the printer, ink, (four colors) power cord, and software CD, manuals. USB cord is not included. Pros: Very quick printer; quiet and has really nice print quality for photos and reports. Takes all memory cards. USB port on front, covered memory card slots. Pict-Bridge enabled. Compatible with Windows and (especially) Mac. Printing without computer. Cons: Ink tanks are small. Ink is about $9-10 in most stores.

Fifth All in one
This is the 5th All in one printer I have owned. This one is quite a good one. The scanner unit is fast and excellent color rendition. The memory cards work equally well. Remember, Garbage in/Garbage out. Bad camera settings make for a bad print. I have compared this to 6 color units and the color is still very good. I got 75 8 x 10 prints with a failry heavy image. Not bad compared to a Tri-Color cartridge. Prints are fast and nice even without the BEST setting (slooow). I have both the epson R320 and this one. I won't give either one up. The slide scanner is simply wonderful. I have owned HP-brother and Lexmark. All have they're bad points. For those whi want to use the machine in manual mode, the software is nothing short of great. Why i like Epson CX7800 printer
I love my Epson Stylus CX7800 AIO printer, it is a super good printer,makes great copies in color or black and white and makes great photos from your digital camera or from your memory card all with out using your computer. It prints relatively fast from the computer,as fast as i need to from my home computer. I have not found anything that i dislike about this printer. I bought it because it was a great price for what i was needing, less than ($70.00) this included ink cartridges,software, 1 year warrenty, everything just plug into your USB port, down load software from supplied disc and start printing. This is a great all around printer. Sure you can spend hundreds of dollars on something else that claims to print 60-80 pages per minute, but why? I personally can wait for my 20 pages a ...
