    Family Guy Presents Blue Harvest (DVD)

    Family Guy has been a hugely successful competitor to the reigning cartoon kings The Simpsons for many years. Having fired out over 100 episodes across 6 or 7 series, the makers decided to pay a tribute to one of their favourite movies, Star Wars - A New Hope. The Blue Harvest title derives from the code name used by George Lucas during the filming of Return of the Jedi to keep curious and prying eyes away from the sets. To get the best from this homage, a basic understanding of the characters of Family Guy and Star Wars is a great help, but not entirely essential, however it should be remembered that this is a &quot;fan-boy&quot; movie, so expect lots of &quot;in&quot; jokes and running gags from the series.
