This is the only billiards simulater I have played on PS2 so I don't have anything to compare it to. The controls are very sensitive and a bit tricky to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, this sensitivity helps you control your shots, which is the idea. The AI oponents can get annoying with repetitve comments about your playing skills. The graphics are realistic and the actual reaction of the balls and cushions during game play is very accurate. I bought this game because I am a pool hall junkie who doesn't have the time for my real "fix" anymore, and this game has helped satisfy my cravings a bit.

In my earlier days I shot billiards in tournaments around the valley and belonged to a league. I now only play for recreation and wanted a game that would round out my PS2 collection. This game provides a simple interface to produce shots similar to the actual game. It also would benefit someone who is interested in playing billiards but first needs to learn the techniques of the game. I bought the game on EBay because of my past experiences and better pricing than local merchants.
Cool older game, pool players will find it entertaining. My six year old son loves going head to head with his old Dad!
I got this game at a good price, thankfully. The game itself is alright, but it just needs something else. It's like you turn on the game and you're just playing pool, not much else to it. When I buy a game, I like to see some extra features that will make me want to come back and play and play and play some more. This game just doesn't have that.
