Fast ship. Great little radio for a vehicle. Just plug in and go. So small, it fit in my dash. They do provide prog software, but I’m a Mac owner, and could not utilize it. Even with the fact that I had to prog this radio manually, w paper inst, I got it working with tones and chan #s. It would be great if CHIRP supported this model. The prev one, the 778 is prog with CHiRP, but I prefer this model’s size and 12v power plugin. You could use this radio indoor with a pwr adapter.

This is a very good 2 way radio, VHF/UHF. The receiver is very sensitive and audio on Rx & Tx is very good with good volume. As far as programming goes, good luck, but once you get there it's worth the effort. If it were possible I would give this radio 10 stars. letsgetready shipping is very, very fast.

Received 1.25 meter model (wrong one) but can't really blame seller as much as manufacturer since the outside of the box does not state which of 3 mono bands are available in this model. Seller was quick to offer a replacement but as it was an urgent need for this emergency radio I had already ordered another. Seller quickly refunded the returned radio. A++++++ seller.
