    This Part Fixed My Issue

    I purchased a used desktop computer here on ebay, I quickly discovered that the front usb ports weren't functioning properly. A friend of mine who answers questions on the hp community forum sent me a link to this part. I'm so glad that he did, it was actually fairly easy to install once I figured it out.

    Check around and fix it yourself

    The one that was in the refurb computer was broke, they told me to send the computer as they did not want to send me the part, so I checked around and found this one for just a few bucks.
