Excellent film which shows the benefit of teamwork versus brawn. When Apocalypse was beaten he was on his own and the x-men overcame a superior mutant. Apocalypse was the first and most powerful mutant who was saved by mutants thousands of years ago after he became immortal like Wolverine, who made a cameo appearance. But he did go into a long slumber, awoken by modern day supporters who uncovered his tomb. He gathered four mutants around him likened to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, including Magneto played by the brilliant Michael F, Angel, and a young Storm who s powers were also increased by Apocalypse. They targeted Professor Xavier, who became bald in the process, because he could control everyone s minds and Apocalypse could add this power to his own. Magneto was angry as his family were killed again and became the pivotal character once more who would decide everybody s fate. I don t know how many people he killed before turning on Apocalypse to save his friend but it was quite a few. The movie was flawed, so I gave it four stars, by a strange accident where Magneto s wife and daughter were killed by a single arrow. I was in two minds whether to laugh or not, but I thought, no. The Australian print was the best as always, with the added benefit of being region B. The 4k print will be outstanding when I get my 4k tv but the digital copy may be unavailable outside Australia.Read full review
