So I bought this USB adapter as a backup since I didn't have any use for it at that time until I ordered a new microphone for my laptop which I have decided to use this USB adapter since the colour of it was very fitting with my setup and the quality of it was quite nice especially for $4. The sound quality is good as well when I connected my microphone to it but I haven't connected my headphones to the USB port but it should be fine. 8/10, from happy buyer.
