About this product
Product Information
Hook: Have you longed to have more excitement and pizzazz in your life? Have you wondered if some of your youthful dreams could ever come true? When you read about great saints, do you want faith like that? Do you want to experience that in the tragedies of your life God forces them to work for your good? In An Ordinary farm girl meets an Extra-Ordinary God, author Pearl Tadema invites you to look over her shoulder and observe how she discovered that the heart of her own navigation of life was an essential union of the Holy Spirit with her spirit. When the Holy Spirit climbed into her thoughts she found a new view of her life: Jesus made good come out of all her crises. Jesus united with her making her skin His skin too. Jesus took her hands and feet to do what He wanted done. Look at her life and find the same treasures in your own. With Jesus at the rudder you can enjoy navigating the rise and fall of life's ocean-waves! See how Jesus makes dreams come true, life exciting, and develops you into the unique, highly valuable person God created you to be in the first place. Born in Monroe, Washington from Dutch immigrant stock, Pearl graduated from Calvin College in 1950 and married Rits Tadema, a scholarship student from the Netherlands. She served as pastor's wife while raising their eight children. In 1980 she earned a Master of Education degree with a major in counseling from Seattle Pacific University and founded Creative Christian Counseling, which she offered for twenty years. She began AOD, Acres of Diamonds, a Christian program and home for homeless women and their children in Duvall, Washington in 1995. Pearl and Rits are retired in Spokane, Washington seeking to impart to forty-three grandchildren, and presently twenty-two great-grandchildren the wonders of serving an Extra-Ordinary God.

This book arrived with another one on which I've already commented, so I give the same comment here. Excellent ebayer. The product arrived on time and was in the condition described. It was also a hardback book, whereas I thought I had ordered a paperback. It was excellent value for money as a paperback and so it is many time more than that as a hardback. Thank you Baham Books, excellent service all round.
