El nombre de la novela es El caminante de Aplapat la cual narra la historia de un campista que en el bosque de Aplapat descubre que existe un ermitano que vive con un arlequin. El ermitano es un viejo misantropo que esta tratando de desarrollar una teoria para poder crear una nave que viaje a la velocidad de la luz. El arlequin es su companero de discusiones y siempre estan peleando y elucidando cuestiones filosoficas y cientificas. De tal suerte que el caminante los comienza a espiar ya que el es un estudiante de filosofia y los temas de los que hablan los hombres son de sumo interes para su curiosidad intelectual, empero, en uno de sus intentos de espiar la cabana del ermitano es descubierto por el arlequin, el cual, lo obliga a entrar en el laberinto de la filosofia que es un viaje anecdotico por las distintas epocas de la historia filosofia en donde se muestran algunos pasajes de la vida de los filosofos y sus distintas problematicas existenciales al cuestionar de tal manera las verdades establecidas de su epoca. En esta novela veremos como el desarrollo de las ideas abstractas de los filosofos se vuelven agentes de cambio y transformacion historica. Por lo cual, el fin fundamental de este escrito es hacer ver que la actividad filosofica es de vital importancia en esta epoca en donde existe la necesidad de cuestionar no solo el campo de la filosofia sino la totalidad de las areas del conocimiento humano y sobre todo, su estructura y esquema de civilizacion. Urge nuevas ideas que nos muestren nuevos horizontes y la filosofia siempre sera, la cuna estelar de estas nuevas ideas que nos daran nuevas soluciones para afrontar las presentes problematicas.
