Actually as you can read yourself on the letter photographed it writes it is" receivers responsibility" to insure an import is allowed. This is as well ebays policy as a shop selling worldwide can't know all import restrictions for every country. We offered you immediatly voluntary and in goodwill a 50% refund to share the loss which you refused to accept. That was the best we could offer having in mind it is YOUR responsbility to buy only goods that can be imported to Australia.

The item was well packaged and according to the given description. The seller has great sense of organization and communication qualities.
