Overpaid for an open box item that was listed elsewhere brand new for $30 LESS than what I paid with FREE shipping. But hey, at least the seller was kind enough to refund half of my shipping costs, after 1. Telling me the item was listed as an open box item but is indeed brand new. FALSE. 2. Telling me that in the future, I need to call the store for a better price. This is customer service!? WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!

  • Best (sub-super) lightweight hardware available

I've been playing drums for forty two years and recently began looking for a sturdy alternative to the standard double braced (i.e.; very heavy) drum hardware. Single braced hardware was the next logical step and after extensive research I decided on the Yamaha 700 series drum hardware line and was glad I did. It's as tough as nails, every bit as stable as the double braced (Tama) hardware I needed a break from carrying, has a very clean design, great feel (hi hat, bass drum pedal), etc. I owned a Yamaha Tour series kit back in the 80's and always had fond memories of its reliability and workmanship. If you wanted anything lighter hardware-wise my fave pick is the extra light hardware by Canopus. I have a set of hardware by both companies; the Canopus for indoor gigs/load ins with stairs ...

  • Great, light weight, dependable Hi-Hat stand.

First off I'm 64 yrs. old and hauling around a 100 pound bag of double braced stands is a task I no longer want to do. So... This stand does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's single braced, so it's light weight. It has a great tension adjustment and you can dial in the perfect pedal response. The clutch is the same as on their high end lines so no slippage there. Plus it's made in Yamaha's Motorcycle metal parts factory so you know it's a quality item. I play classic rock and blues so a double braced stand is overkill for me and my back. I bought mine for $60.00 new out of the box, you can't go wrong.

  • Great Hi-Hat

I am a Yamaha fan. Excellent hardware at a very affordable price. The 700 series is perfect for home use as well as the road. Heavy enough to withstand a pounding but not so heavy that it is difficult to transport. Fit and finish are excellent.

  • Best Hi Hat stand on the market

Best Hi Hat stand on the market. Great action with adjustable tension. Light weight AND stable. Should only cost $100.

  • excellent value

Although used, the hi hat stand works very well. I am a working drummer and use it up to 4 times a week and it is very reliable
